White With One ...Dec. Challenge

I thought I would have ago at this one ...so difficult it was . I found out just what colour to use now I had to find the right photo.I took this one when i was in Maldon a couple of days ago I just loved the white picket fence and the beautiful Hydranges .. then to put it altogether I had a problem.. as I'm trying to pack up for renovations ..[but needing to scrap] could not find anything ..had to make do with what I could find close at hand.. I think it looks  "delicate"

I thought I'd have a crack at this challenge... easy ..so I thought ..until I tried looking for Khaki paper or card. I ended up mixing up paint as close as but the evening photography does not do it justice....
As I said in my title about needing to get all info on photo's ..sadly there's no one who can tell who the little child is in this pic. I know one person is my Aunty [sister on dad's side ]and I'm pretty sure the older lady is my "Little Nanna" my dad's mum...My Mother is still alive but being almost blind she would not be able to tell me..I have hidden journaling on the tag ..

I always seem to muck up trying put my blog page just right, I must practice . I think I've done something with the font now .

The photo in this layout is of No 2 son during his days at university. I am sure it was a study shot taken by another student for an assignment purpose. I played with the white background paper with a bit of stamping and Black Gesso then added what I could find that would bring this together.

I've done some fussy cutting and it went together okay  ,well and I'm happy with how it turned out it looks quite magical to me.. Just like fairies at the bottom of the garden...

 It's of my three children taken together at a school photo shoot many years ago. We where given the opportunity to have younger siblings at home to have a sitting together.
I have changed the photo colour to pick out my daughter's pink jumper.

This mood board did not grab me at first but the more I looked at it and the  wonderful inspiration from the team s work I was then taken by the quote and colours.
 I have a few "Selfies" of my grand daughter which she had put up on face book I have been using in layouts and this particular one had a hint of blue and pink so that is what I went for plus the gentle expression..
The colour of the flowers is actually a bright pink I took this photo of my layout inside with my iphone of which I do not know how to drive as yet so no colour fix. the quote is
            "Be nice

  The colours for July are [ it looks to me like] two shades of brown  , cream &  pale yellow..

I tried to match up as best I could with this layout..tho as usual my photography is not the greatest nor the lighting as it was too cold and wet to do it outside I took the photo inside. I have a few photos like this selfie of my eldest grand daughter of which I've quite taken to do scrap layouts of.

My Uncle Harold's 90th birthday celebration..names are on the back.
Family members came from great distances to be here for this great day. not all could make it .A wonderful get together it was.

I've not come across this blog before I saw it by chance and thought  I may have a go because  I was looking for another challenge that appealed to me this one did.
So I went about trying to find the colours I found this photo of my daughter with her youngest daughter . I titled it "HAPPY ON A SWING".
I had meant to have the colour challenge pic up first but the computer decided otherwise.

I remember this as clear as if it were yesterday,, Max went down the slide [it was a roller type] it was wet  and bumpy . we just laughed so much..

This was taken on my first trip to Japan 11yrs ago..

Silver does not show well at all but I've have used silver , blue & white but for a small piece of hession that I've used gesso on it to whiten ....

I was really taken by the happy colour yellow and of course the cheery sunflowers.  After great searching for the perfect photo I knew I had , this layout came together

My granddaughter dressed as a sunflower for the Castlemaine show parade...

This was at least 12years ago ....A truly happy little Sunflower....
