My Creative Scrapbook Dec. Sketch Challenge.

At it again , as I keep having all this inspiration coming at me from blog cruising I just have to keep on scraping. I know I should be getting my craft room in some sort of order but when I attempt the task I find something that "NEEDS" to be used be it a photo or papers or an idea I've seen.
This layout is using a photo of my grandson sitting in a shopping trolley eating his first ice cream cone .
 So gorgeous it  was regardless of the mess.Photo not real good as the lighting was rather bright & my then [as now] camera was not of top range. The memory of that day is something I will never forget as it was such a great day and to see this photo I can still remember...

SCRAPBOOK BOUTIQUE  NOV> COLOUR CHALLENGE>

 I went with red, green, white with a splash of gold in a flower. I have not many Christamasy photo's I had best change that this Christmas & photograph more.

This is an old photo of my grand daughter being in one of her fun moods. she thought the Christmas Wreath would go better on her than the door. A beautiful smile .  I just love it when she smiles with her eyes & her heart.

Double layouts are not my thing , but I thought I have just the photos I need but after going through what I though was the" bees knees" I was stumped.So in desperation I chose these that I took whilst on a day in the city with a couple of friends. We came down by train for a meander around South bank , on to a craft market, then on to what ever we could find open as it was a Sunday. Had a really great day.

Scrap Around the World Nov.Mood Board & Sketch Challenge

I had been thinking about this beautiful colourful mood board & thought what is my inspiration .. I was given 2 papers the other day & it came to me straight away ,well almost.. I had a photo I could use it was only a copy from a facebook phone photo so quality was not that great .I played with it & this is what happened.
 I used the beautiful colours & the rainbow words as  Jim & Jennie are a rainbow of happiness  to me ..

 I have written on the bottom & up the side of my layout. Jim & Jennie on their honeymoon {Maldives}..So happy together Jim & Jennie are one.My world lights up seeing them so happy...

Sketch With a twist. November

I am at it again, just cannot help it. This is challenge was a good one for me to try. I like using texture & paint but it just will not seem to go right for me. I did a textured piece using  a paper napkin holder as a mask , a lacy pattern I thought was nice. I also tried with a paper lace doily , it worked but not very pronounced. . splash a bit of paint about too.Did a fair job of the sketch. got a bit carried away & ran out of room.
My journal is down one side & across the bottom. "My fave subject at the moment , as they are so happy together. Jim & Jennie their wedding day on the beach .
