It has taken me awhile to get to this I knew what I wanted to do but just could not get it out. This is a "Selfie" of my granddaughter ;I have palyed around with it changed it to black & white & cropped it . I was taken by the face art on the the mood board . I focused on black & white. was starting to get carried away almost no room left for a title but I made it.

Purple Pumpkin September Sketch Challenge

I think  maybe back on track.

Played around with this using a bit of mixed media , mists, gesso ,torn book pages & lace. I used a gloss medium & varnish to stick down lace & paper.
The photo is of my youngest grand daughter & myself. I went to Japan for a visit & my first cuddle with her. This part of the house was our spot, where I nursed , fed, burped &
just enjoyed our time together.

I was over anxious again photography bad .I am having a bad time at the moment I hope this layout will bring me some "LUCK" in getting myself back into the groove of things.
Photo of my nephew Chris is a copy from a newspaper.  He was a small boy when he found the FOUR LEAF CLOVER in the yard at his home. It made the local paper quite a few years back .

I chose to do a layout using a photo of new shoots on a Hydrangea plant. During 

Winter the leaves turn rusty & brown but come Spring they begin again with new green shoots then finally into flower.As my title states "Spring is the season of new beginnings"
