A Birthday card this time. Missed last challenge , was just so un-organized . I hope to be more organized in the New Year,  not making any promises tho but I'll be trying.

I have been busy ,was deternined to get my entry done today .
Purple Pumpkin embellishments, once again bad photography  or light I cannot seem to get it right lately.
This is my granddaughter Brianna she always liked to be in her stroller did not like to walk very much.

Everyone seems to be entering beautiful cards, so I thought why not add my two bobs worth .   i have made a few cards to send, but I find it hard to choose wich one to send to who. I will have to get a spurt on and DO IT today or they will be EARLY for next Christmas.

scrapbook boutique colour challenge Dec.

Well not real good photography , but you get the idea. I hope. I just put it together using a lot of thoughts racing through my head and had to ease up a bit I cannot seem to get all in and still get it looking right. The lager pic is just printed off on paper I had to touch it up a little as my printer is almost out of ink it tells me. Dear old Santa up in the corner is keeping his eye on "THE TEAM" making sure they're doing the job right.

I've been blog hopping and blog browsing having a lovely time getting inspired by all the wonderful work I've seen . i now must get to work & whittle down my stash before I venture to by more. I have put my name in for some giveaways tho just for fun. one never knows I may be lucky one day.

A bit of a rush job here, end of the month of Nov. cannot believe it.
This is another layout of my sister Lu & mum. this taken  was Oct. 8th.2012. Mum's birthday.
Every year my sisters & I meet in Echuca for a sister weekend & visit mum for her birthday.
As we all live a distance away from each other this is usually a very busy weekend.
                         Mum is 87 so we make every visit count.

My take on the Nov. sketch challenge for Paper Stories . Lost my mojo for  this one, I don't know what happened, I had thoughts but as I was feeling a bit flat this is what I came up with. I'll have another shot at the sketch with same photo when I'm inspired again.

Purple Pumpkin Nov. Sketch ...I've used acouple of purple pumpkin embellishments on this layout.

                                              Taken back in the days of "Spiral Perms" a pic of me and our eldest granddaughter. [who is now 23yyrs.] she a resl cutie. I have written around the page. The reason for the "Sad Face" is because she was not feeling well , she had a cold coming on and was a bit feverish.

 I was going to be clever and thought I'd do a photo of me on my wedding day. Not easy..
all whites are different, cannot see title very well but never the less I'm done.

The title is Me June 1964

What do you think? The challenge was for all white.

Just on a whim I managed to put this together for The scrapbook store oct. sketch challenge. I'm not one for circles but I was taken with this particular sketch. I have titled this "Puppy Love" My granddaughter & one of our dogs "Pickle"

My take on the Scrapbook Boutique Oct.Colour Challenge using  pink& chocolate brown..
   Hand made flowers [paper & material] I've dusted with a little smooch ,some pink & white twine
     & a string of chocolate vine leaves also white leaves with a pink fern leaf .
         I just had to do these gorgeous eyes of my grandaughter. "Oh!so innocent eyes."

over the years I've collected buttons, odd ones ,some off worn out clothes and some because they were pretty or just because. My grand mothers and my mother did also.as well as zips and shoe laces. "One never knew when they would be needed"..I have fuzzed up the photo to perhaps give it characture i don't really know why , me just amusing myself.

This layout Black,white &one took me an age to work out. One would not think how challengeing it can be.
the white flowers are a different white and to try and work out what other colour I could use I was a bit lost. .probably because I couldn't find what I was looking for,  that happens a lot, when I get creative  everything is all over the place. I may just try & do some other layouts "Black, White & One other colour" to get it just right.This photo is of my Grandmother & Uncle Harold . Lokks like it was taken by a street photgrapher.
I think maybe 1940 a few days before my Uncle left for service overseas....

Can i get it right?

Still having a spot of bother, what works one day does not go the next.

This lay out is of my grandson, with a class mate on an excursion.Photo was taken when he was at kindergarten whilst living in Japan.

I have used ...Paint,buttons,doily,spray ink, 2 different alphas in title ,twine, fussy cutting & flowers.

I would like to be able to edit my post without all the drama I have to go through to do so.
Thought I would try a different challege today, as it's cold and a bit wet outside I was going to work a bit in the garden no go so I'm doing the next best thing , playing in my crafty area ..

 I have used 3 different papers , 3 handmade flowers , 3 buttons for flower centre
I have put 3 pearls as well. I have followed  the recipe . looks ok I think anyways I'm pleased with how it
turned out..
