Purple Pumpkin September Sketch Challenge

I think  maybe back on track.
Played around with this using a bit of mixed media , mists, gesso ,torn book pages & lace. I used a gloss medium & varnish to stick down lace & paper.
The photo is of my youngest grand daughter & myself. I went to Japan for a visit & my first cuddle with her. This part of the house was our spot, where I nursed , fed, burped &
just enjoyed our time together.
