Scrapbook Boutique May Colour Challenge.

Had to really think about the challenge this time..
Lovely Autumn  colours  , so much choice in photos  . I choose to do a layout of our dear old dog "PICKLE" she is getting on in years 16 this year. We got her when she was 18 mths. old . Getting a little slow now with age, still seems happy enough , though every morning we wonder as her time must nearly be here.

Scrap Around The World May Mood Board .

 I felt I had to put a layout for this SPECIAL event A First Birthday . I cannot believe  the year has gone so quick since this site first began.
I was attracted to this months Mood Board by the Party Theme inspired by the balloons. This was a great party there was a photo booth and we could put on funny accessories and have a photo taken . I took this one with my little camera.

Me again. Loved the quote on the mood board this month.. so I thought , Oh yes this would be easy.....but it was not to be...MoJo is sleeping again, thinking too much again I will have to try and live up to that quote.... Don't over think now what was that again my thoughts did wander off to something else again.... I was having a good day with my sisters .

My Sister Rose .. A little low on the MoJo at the moment. This is a pic from a time we were in Echuca. I've played with the colour  and it seems used mostly Pink for this layout. It is titled " ROSE " I think it looks okay.. couldn't seem to come up with other colours.

Just having a play

I have once again decided to just scrap what I feel. If I come across a photo, a quote , paper or anything else that takes my fancy I will scrap it , maybe follow a sketch or mood board . I may enter challenges if I manage to get it done to the requirements . Here is a couple of layouts I have done in the last few days [it does take me awhile to be satisfied with a layout ] these are of two of my granddaughters at different times in their lives. This photo is just so sweet and caring. they always looked out for each other.The quote says"always you will have my hand to hold" " My sister My friend"

 This one was taken whilst we were at the zoo [Melbourne] Just decided to take a train ride and visit the zoo . This was 2013 the two of them again. I just love this quote and had to use it

 "Do not go where the may lead ,
go instead where there is no path
and leave a trail.."

Title is My Sister....I used a bit of paint and torn paper to make the background  .... Info on the back about the day...

WHITE WITH ONE MARCH CHALLENGE

White with one March challenge /Latte...

I know why a challenge is a challenge .  I find it certainly does make ones brain & thoughts go into overdrive. One sees the challenge requirements & thinks great I know just what I'll do I've just the photo...then comes the hard part... you finally find the photo , sort out the background in this case WHITE what can I do that will make WHITE look good especially with the challenge colour LATTE ... how many shades of LATTE everything I picked up was a different shade.. not to mention the "what embellishments."I had chosen a gentle photo of my grandson when he was very young... I was STUCK on the embellishments absolutely had nothing I could lay my hands on.. [I had rearranged again my room again therefore everything was lost] Anyway  hope you like what I came up with...
